Location looks like the base of Ft San Lorenzo on the River side

there were some pretty steep slopes along the shore between Ft Sherman and Chagres River mouth…. but these seem awfully high & i am worried by the vegetation, so it may well not be Panama. There were a couple of steep places on Taboga Island too. Bob K

I remember reading a novel years ago; some kids got to the spot (Taboga) and were stranded by the tide. Sorry, that’s all I remember (oh…they survived!).
