Item of the Week: Abou Saad Shrine Fez
We are finding some interesting items as we rehouse the collection, including this Greeter Shrine Fez from the Abou Saad Temple. Was anyone a member of this group? What was your experience like?

Thank you everyone for the metadata!
The Panama Canal Society Reunion was a blast! Thank you to everyone who visited our table, explored the exhibit, and participated in the Sensing the Libraries audio experiment. A very special thank you to all who contributed metadata to identify people in the photographs, I look forward to adding the information to our digital collection and database.

These interactive labels were a great way to collect information. After cross-referencing some yearbooks, and with the help of Joe Wood’s incredible memory, it was determined that the actual date of the photograph was 1955, in which the names match the same placement of the players. Everyone in this community is very important in contributing and correcting information for the PCM collection, please keep sharing your knowledge!

Are You Game? At the Panama Canal Society Reunion
I love being in exhibit halls before they open. If you are currently here in Orlando, come check out the Panama Canal Museum Collection exhibit Are You Game? before we pack up on Sunday. There is also still time to try out a 3D Audio Tour presented by the Sensing the Libraries Team at the University of Florida, who will be here until Friday, July 7th. Catch them before they head out at 6pm!
